One of my favorite degree programs is the Sociology Degree. The reason I like it so much is that it has a lot to do with learning about people. I am always fascinated about what motivates people and what helps people to succeed. I think Sociology has some similarities with Psychology. I thought about being a Psychologist but I don’t like that you have to be in school for about eight years. I also don’t like that I would incur a huge school debt in order to become a Psychologist. This makes me really nervous that if for some reason being a Psychologist didn’t work out, I would be stuck with a mountain of debt to pay off. At that point it would be really difficult to try and switch to a different degree program because of all the money I would have wasted. The more I think about this the more I get scared about what direction I want to go.
