I was cleaning my shoe rack when I realized that my Gucci trainer s weren’t in there anymore. I didn’t really use them that often, but it mattered to me that they were there. I was furious because somebody took them without my permission. I pondered on who might have possibly taken my Gucci shoes. I remembered that my brother is the only person in the house who has the same shoe size. I went to his room and he wasn’t there. He must’ve been still in school. I decided to ask him the first moment he gets home.
Later that day, when he went home, I wasn’t surprised to see him wearing my Gucci trainers. He saw me looking at them and he smiled at me sheepishly. I asked, “Why are you wearing them?” He replied, “I got in the running team. I tried out today and I successfully got in. I have your trainers to thank. Sorry for not asking your permission. You were asleep.” I sighed because I couldn’t bring myself to be angry with my brother. It was irrational, considering I don’t even use the Gucci trainers anymore. I said, “Fine, you can have them. But you should promise me that you’ll take care of them.”
